    Duct Tape Prom Outfit


    Will Drummond says he rarely leaves his house without a roll of duct tape — or, more precisely, Duck tape.

    He finds countless ways to use it: Backpacks, binders, cellphone covers — even a purse that he made for his cousin.

    So, when Shauna Davis asked Drummond to enter a contest to make prom attire out of Duck brand duct tape, he was all over it.

    And the tape was all over both of them.

    The two Richland High School graduates bought about $200 worth of tape, and spent about 150 hours carefully sticking it on the secondhand clothing they bought for the project.

    Davis and Drummond, both 18, were selected as a top 10 couple in the Stuck at Prom contest, which has been held for the past seven years by the makers of Duck brand duct tape...

    Wearing a real tux in June was pretty bad, but I'd imagine duct tape was really hot.
