Thread: Drivers arrested for speeding at 141 mph

EVERETT, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol says a trooper arrested two men speeding 141 mph on I-5 in Snohomish County. The patrol says the trooper thought he was hearing an airplane early Sunday as the cars whizzed by going north, a 2005 BMW 330i with a 2007 Honda Accord right behind.

The trooper caught up with the cars because they had stopped for a passenger from one of the cars to get into the other.

The 22-year-old driver of the BMW, and the 18-year-old driver of the Honda were booked into the Snohomish County Jail for charges of reckless driving.

The fastest speed that I ever got a ticket for was a 99 in a 55 in my 1972 Chevelle SS. The cop was very agitated because his radar only had 2 digits and he knew I was going WAY faster that when I blew by him. I wasn't going as fast as that BMW but I wasn't far off.

The fastest I've ever been in a car was 144 according to the stock speedo in my 3000GT.

The fastest I've been in a boat was about 90 mph. We didn't have a radar at the time I was in it, but the boat had been clocked at that before and we were wide open.

I once arrested a guy for some stupid sh*t and while in route to the station I began pushing cotten.
I went priority to the station with a handcuffed prisoner aboard at over 130 mph in an effort to make it to a toilet without sharting myself.
Commen sense came over me and realized it wasn't worth it. So the prisoner was found not guilty in my cruiser and let go at the next stop light.
I still never made it to the station and the next day I was asking my Captain for a new cruiser...which was denied by the way.


God I hope I never see that guy I let go again!
