That's going to be intense man, have you seen the "battle at kruger" video on youtube.... I hope you get to see something that spectacular (and take pictures for us)
    I haven't seen it.

It's definitely the most insane animal video I've ever seen. We had a thread for it a while back. If you are looking to get pumped for your trip (not that you need it) watch it.

Nice country to go to SIA and can understand your concern about the mugging - not one of the best places in the world in that respect- so just be sure you and the wife keep an eye out for any trouble - we'd like to know you get back to Minny safely to the rest of the season.
As for the photos there is so much potential there bith with landscape and animals - look forward to seeing some of the pics when you're home !

That was a pretty cool video.
We watch three lions (females) try to stalk a few impalas.
I was had the video going, but nothing came to fruition.
They tried to triangulate them and then the impalas didn't cooperate.
    LOL!
Fun to watch though, lots of anticipation.

Make sure that you make time to travel.
If you are positive that you are going, you will want to check into Kruger possibilities.
BUT....... they only let so many people in the park in one day.
Make your reservations as early as you can, if you want to go that is.....
