Down in the dumps. Need some cheering up!
I just returned from Las Vegas, again. Like a moron I left my briefcase in the rental car. I have yet to find it. I lost my laptop computer, GPS, and MP3 player as well as various other items. Why is the world not honest? Why am I such an idiot? I just want my stuff back!

Sorry to hear that Mars. I'm surprised the rental car co. is not that honest. They are the only ones that would have it. I'd fire off an e-mail off to their corporate website informing them of the theft.
It had to be a rental car employee that stole it.

I'm amazed the rental company didn't find it and call you!
Which agency did you use?

Alamo
They have bad customer service and I would advise all to not use them!

I called corporate but they seemed to not care. I filed a police report but even the police did not care much. I think they have more important things to worry about. I guess my loss is not that big to them.
Re: Down in the dumps. Need some cheering up!
sorry Alamo sucks.
I always use Avis and they've tracked me down in the terminal when I forgot items in my rental car...
Which is fairly frequent!
You pay more for the big names, but this is a classic example of "you get what you pay for."
The person who handled your car should have done the right thing...
Re: Down in the dumps. Need some cheering up!
Thats to bad my friend.
Did you have the car for company business?
If so, maybe something from your company would add some leverage.

Don't feel bad. I lost my virginity in the back of a rental car. How can one ever replace that?
