Re: Don't let a hospital kill you
Great article BLV, and one EVERYONE should take seriously.
I work in a hospital and know the risks involved with MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)), also refered to as multiplie resistant staphococcus aureus.
There are two major types, CA or community aquired and HA or Hospital aquired.
HA is more serious because patients have open sores, invasive items, and reduced immune systems making them more prone to the infection than the general public.
We take it very seriously here and become almost OCB about washing our hands ANYTIME we have contact with patients, and especially after going to the bathroom.
I know some guys think it is wussy to wash your hands after going to the bathroom, but that is the fastest way to contract and spread infections!!!!!!! :P
Think about what you touch after going to the bathroom, door handles, food, change in your pocket, etc. etc. etc. :-X
