WOW! They say that things happen in threes...well, two other actors that performed with Don Knotts at various times also died this week...Darren McGavin and Louis Nye. RIP, all three of you classic funnymen!

It's always sad when one of the "greats" that I grew up with passes on.

RIP Don Knotts, that guy was funny....always felt sorry for him in his roles.

He was a great comedian. He was one of my all time favorite actors. He will be sorely missed by a great deal of people. It does make you feel very sad to see someone like him go, he made me laugh. My first memories of television was the Andy Griffith show!

I liked him - I am sorry to see him go... I liked him as Ralph Furley on "Three's Company" more than I did as Barney Fife...

I grew up with him, and I can even remember my dad would listen to him on the radio....

I enjoyed the roles he played, my favorite being Barrney Fife

He was funny as hell....
