Cajun, can you separate them by genre or artist, or favorites, depending on what mood you're in? Is it easy to do?

You can separate by artist, albums, songs, genres, composers, and even separate audiobooks. It has all kinds of features...you can auto shuffle the songs, you can set up different playlists, all kinds of options...it is awesome to be able to have so much music at your fingertips. I have a separate volume control on my headphones (I don't like the earpieces on the ones that they give you with the iPod, so I bought form fitting ones for my ears) for riding on the Metro, because when I put the iPod in my pocket, I usually lock the settings in place, so that the volume doesn't fluctuate.

Does anyone know if the rechargable batt's are easy to replace (does the thing come apart)?

I have heard that the battery is not replaceable...but I am sure that when the time comes, they will figure it out...or have some PO'ed customers on their hands. The battery is supposed to be able to be recharged tons of times before it dies, so I am not too worried about it right now.
