The Departed

I watched the Departed tonite and if this movie doesn;t win the Best Movie Oscar, the folks at the Academy are smoking Clint Eastwood's pole!

This movie is going to go down as an all time classic up there with Good Fellas, Casino and The Godfather!
I definetly give it a "gotta see" rating!

Oh and on a different note, Smoking Aces is Tarantino kind of fun! If you like serious violence, its worth a view!

I saw the Departed last night. I liked it a lot, but I still would give the edge to Goodfellas or Casino. I heard they were going to make a 2nd Departed. Anybody else hear that rumor?

I had to watch it two-x in a row so I could understand it. Definitley a kick butt movie.

So did I FVB, and even after two times, I'm not sure whether Wahlberg whacks him out of revenge, or if Wahlberg was the secret FBI guy.....
what was your take?

The Departed was amazing.
It really kept me on my toes the whole time, and Marky Mark was a bad ass.

I did here that but I really hope they don't. Most every sequel I've see (Not counting the Godfather) sucked horribly and the original always kicks @$$

Departed was one of the better movies I have seen in a while. Its already been added to my movie collection.

How are they planning on making a sequel when pretty much every main character dies?

saw it in the theater. I thought it ruled good flick,good plot twists. Plus its got Jack Nicholson.
