Re: For Del Rio, and other fisherman...
PPE and Ultra,
Thanks for the compliments.
This is just a baby...LOL..
Last year I landed my largest to date, a 48" 40 lb, Cow Striper.....
Most Striper fisherman here in the New England area consider a 50 pounder to be their true target catch (catch of a lifetime).....
But 40 lbs and up is worth some braging rights..
Yes Ultra, In my younger days, I was known to land a few Strippers also......LOL....

Nice Striper Ned. You do any other freshwater fishing?

Animal,
This is a Salt Water Striper.......But the fresh water ones look the same..
I also like fresh water fishing, IE: Pike, Trout, Crappie, Catfish, to name a few..
But I'm really into salt water, mostly offshore-deep water action, IE: Sharks and Tuna...

Nice NED..........jerk...........
Just playing, I wish I could have caught something that big this weekend. I actually had a four day weekend, did a backpacking trip with my brothers up into the high uintas, fished the natural lakes up there for some seriously tasty trout. I caught a lot of fish but I think the biggest one we landed was 2 pounds max.
Seen two bears, a heard of elk and a bunch of mule deer to boot. I will go after the big boys in june when i head down to Flaming Gorge.

Speaking of big fish, this is my brother from about 5 years ago. If I remember correctly he was on the St. Croix river. It do believe that is a sturgeon; 97 pounds.
*He had 20 lb line too.
