Anyone who has watched one second of baseball knows Ortiz the the most clutch hitter in baseball. Stats don't prove anything. Just ask Mariano Rivera, B.J. Ryan and a laundry list of other pitchers how clutch he is.

Ortiz is very clutch but I'd have to say Pujols is the most clutch. That bomb in the playoffs with the Cards down to their final strike was the most insane thing I've ever seen in baseball. That wasn't just a one time thing either. That guy always comes through when they need him like Ortiz but he doesn't get the coverage Ortiz does in Boston.

As far as clutch goes, I'll never forget the NLCS from 2004 which essentially boiled down to Pujols vs Beltran. Both those guys played absolutely out of their minds. It's a shame barely anyone remembers or talks about that series, only because it was overshadowed by YANKEESREDSOXYANKEESREDSOXYANKEESREDSOX
