Danes give about $10 million to africa in fundraiser

Amazing by the danish civilians and companies who gave their money away to people in worse situations. The money it self will be used to help people in africa with aids/hiv, about 40 million people have aids/hiv in the world and about 25 of them lives in africa.

Good for them, but i always think that if you don't know what they are gonne do with your money, you should not give.
I gave money for the tsunami. and on the news was that a guy just built a new Five star hotel. just making me sick

I agree with you, I'm not selfish.
I just want be able to see if the money I donate is actually being for used for what they say they were going to do with it.

Well I believe in the organizations in this fund raiser. There is 7 named projects for the money, and I also made my contribution along with the rest of the country.

I would like to see who contributes the most to Africa.
I bet you Italy and the U.S. are in the top five.

Yeah, I am just not sure where the money goes.
I was asked several years ago to go and assist in Africa but I decided not too.
I wasn't to sure how things would turn out but I gave it alot of thought.
It's a beautiful place.

One thing I know is that we used to be proud to be the biggest donor in terms of 3rd world aid compared to our size. Measured in Aid/GDP

After we got our new government I think we dropped to about 3rd place. I think Norway is in the lead now.

Still though we donate yearly at least 1% of our GDP to 3rd world aid.

In total amount, we are #1 or so.

Per capita, we are not doing so good.

I give money to other countries, people who do not have a job, and people who do nopt deserve it.
Yup, it comes right out of my check before I even get it.
Its money to buy weopons and kill other people and keep the regime of that nation intact.

So what was this the Danes did?
I will not comment publicly on that.
