Re: Cult leader says he's too obese for execution
I simply can't believe that some of you can write the things you do.
Have you tried to stop and read it yourselves. Is this really the common perception of capital punishment in the USA these days.
I'm in shock.
Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Cogitan - Before you get on your soap box let me ask you a question. Do you beleive in abortion?
The killing of an innocent baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A person on death row has had a chance to live and forfeited it under our laws.
I do believe though that we should be above the criminals and kill them in a decent manner.
I feel that if he is too heavy and it would be painful then give him a sedetive first.
Then fry his fat ass.
I think that the death penalty should be swift on only those who were are sure were the culprets.
What I mean by that is if there is only circumstantial evidence then life may be a better route.
If there is a chance that a man is innocent we need to give him all the time he needs to prove it.
if we are certain he comitted the crime he is accussed of then he should be sentenced one day and executed the next.
Examples include Charles Mansion, and all his groupies that killed all those people.
Sir han Sir han that shot Bobby Kennedy.
but if there are doubts we have to allow them to live.
They have proven people on death row innocent years after they were suppose to be executed.
You may be suprised by this but I think OJ should get life and not get the death penalty.
Simply because I know he did it but there is a little sense of doubt, not much, DNA showed that it was his blood.
But still a bit of doubt that you should not take his life.
He should not be free though, that is for sure, he did get away with murder.
There s only two things stopping you - fear and common sense!! The Truth you CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!

Re: Cult leader says he's too obese for execution
I don't know if this line of discusion is appropiate here. But here are my thoughts.
I think that capital punishment is discusting no matter what people did. And I think it is a disgrace that USA is the last western country to still use this uncivilized penalty.
And yes I do believe in abortion, very much so. I can't get that anyone want to deny women the right of choice of their own body. As long as it happens within a resonable time after conception.
