If you have pitching , hitting and defense, well then thats a differnt story...but they have 2 outta the 3 and quite frankly thier are alot of teams out there i'd take over the yanks to win it all.
Developed by the Yankees in the mid-1990s: Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams, Jorge Posada, Andy Pettitte

    Result: 4 World Series titles

Where did Bahston get their star players?

    Manny - Cleveland
    Ortiz - Minnesota
    Schilling - Arizona
    Damon - Oakland/KC

    Result: 1 World Series title

    PUHLEEZE!!!

    'Nuff said!!!

    WOW! 4 Players!! Oh my.

Let's look at our projected lineup:

SS - Russ Adams - Blue Jays draft pick
2B - Orlando Hudson - Blue Jays draft pick (and best 2B in MLB btw)
CF - Vernon Wells - Another Blue Jays draft pick
3B - Corey Koskie - FA but Canadian born
DH - Aaron Hill - Blue Jays Draft pick
    1B - Lyle Overbay - Trade
RF - Alex Rios - Yet another Blue Jays draft pick
LF - Frank Catalannato - FA
    C - Guillermo Quiroz - Another pick

    On the bench we got:

OF - Reed Johnson - Another pick

And now we get to our biggest strength, the staff:

    Roy Halladay - DRAFT PICK
    AJ Burnett - FA
    Gustavo Chacin - Drafted
    Ted Lilly - Trade
Josh Towers - Developed by Blue Jays

We have more drafted/developed players than the average IQ of Packer fans. That's not even metioning guys like Carpenter, Escobar, Delgado, and Green who were developed by us and play elsewhere.

Case closed - 2006 is the year of the jay.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

I KNOW about the two WS titles in the early 90s...I was talking about the number of titles that all those draft pics produced...the Yankee draft pics produced those 4 titles...if I was talking about TOTAL titles, I would have said 26 titles!
