X-box 360. Best way to go.

This is coming from a life long Sony guy too...

    Re: Council wars (video games)

I actually throw my vote into the Wii, with Xbox coming in at a close second.
The biggest knock on both Sony and Xbox is the price.

As far as the comment about titles, not controllers, selling consoles, that is partially true.
But I remember the same arguments being made about the Nintendo DS when it first came out and had the keypad instead of a joystick.
    Everyone laughed at them then.
How many of you use a joystick now?

The fact is that PS3s and Xboxes are sitting on the shelves while the Wiis are flying off.
The local Target just got 10 in here the other day, and they sold out by the next.
Call it marketing, call it just a cool system, but the Wii is winning.

With the 360, you get what you pay for. Wii? It's ok, but not next-gen. Still fun.

    PS3 = Letdown.

Yeah, I can agree with all three of those statements.

I am also biased toward the Wii because I have two young kids, and the Wii's titles are more family orientated.

I'm still all about the 360.

1st: Microsoft launched a full year ahead of the others so by the 06 holiday it already had a good foothold.
2nd: Sonys launch was a disaster and sloppy at best, with the holiday season right around the corner you would have thought that sony would have created enough surpluss for its main supporters but diddn't.
3ed: The Wii is a new idea to the world of gameing and is slow on the games to follow it up so the nintendo fanboys are eithor playing Wii sports everyday or are wating for new games to come out.
and 4th: (and most important) with the Wii and PS3 slow to the shelves, most consumers are going to have that money burning a hole in their pockets and are craving a next gen system to play, most may just cave in and buy the highly hiped 360 witch also already has a # of games to back it up.
