Back in my day, we had beer in our kegs. I blame that television invention for making pussies of the youth in this country.

    What a dumb donkey butt.
The cops actually looked like he was being pretty cool about it.
Laughing with the kids, not caring about the video or pictures.
Probably a departmental policy that if they get called to a party where there are minors they need to have everyone blow.

I have seen that before, born out of a lawsuit.
A cop went to a party where there were minors, didn't find any alcohol, had a few people blow and concluded that there was no alcohol.
Later one of the kids gets into an accident, and claims to have been drinking before the cop got there, but never had to blow, and now somehow it is the cop's fault and the parents sue...

Back in your day you had beer in your baby bottle.
    Explains how you turned out...

Good for them, way to stick it to the man.
Sounds like their original complaint had some merit if the school suspended kids simply for holding red cups in a picture. Although at my school the rule was that if you were even at a party with alcohol you would be punished even if you weren't drinking, so much for sober cabs.

We had that rule too, which was IMHO pretty dumb.
Although, I don't really remember being planful enough to have a sober driver at any of the parties I went to, so it was probably moot...

Yup, sounds like the cops were CYA...

"It was a tremendous waste of time and manpower, but we still had a job to do, and our officers did it," Joling said. "If one kid had come there, even hadn't drank there, but had come there and had been drinking and had left and crashed and burned, then what would the sentiment be? Why didn't the police check everybody out?"
