You have to respect anyone with that much courage and heart. I wish this country had more people like that. R.I.P.
The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial was dedicated in 1991 by President George Bush. It honors all of America's federal, state and local law enforcers. Inscribed on the Memorial's blue-gray marble walls are the names of more than 17,000 officers who have been killed in the line of duty, dating back to the first known death in 1792.

His name will eventually find its place of honor here...this memorial is just as impressive as The Vietnam Memorial IMHO...if you are ever in Our Nation's Capital, take the time to seek it out and visit it...you will come away both humbled and grateful for the sacrifices that have been made for the rest of us civilians by these brave men and women!
