Congressional Hearing on Steroids

I watched a little of the coverage and have been watching it on the news. I know what the media is saying, but what do you guys/gals think of Mark McGwire's statements?

I don't think he did very good answering questions. I really have a lot of respect for him, but I think that it is pretty obvious he did use steroids. He could've done a better job at the hearings.

Yeah, I think it is not looking good for him. At least with people like Barry Bonds, Rafael Palmeiro and Sammy Sosa they always deny it, even under oath, which lends some credibility to it.
I though it was really painful watching McGwire in that testimony and I still have an immense ammount of respect for the slugger.

McGwire's an idiot, he really hurt himself with his comments, IMO. I didn't watch any of it, but I did see the "replays" and I was shocked!

It didnt look good but on a positive at least he didnt lie under oath

Exactly! I did think though that he may have just used Andro and not steroids though. But, I think it's pretty obvious now!

Yep! It's a good thing no Twins players are in jeopardy!! I think the Puckster might have taken weight gainer 3000 back in the day, but no steroids!! lol Just kidding, I loved Kirby, it killed me when he had to retire!!
