Congrats Wild fans...
They beat a really good hockey team tonight.
I knew my Bruins were going ti hit a wall at some point.
Can't take anything away from the Wild, though.
They played smothering defense through the 2nd and 3rd periods, and Backstrom (spelling?) played fenominal.
If he continues, they can ride his back (no pun int.) into the playoffs.A good friend will help you move...a best friend will help you move a body.

HOW did you guys land Wheeler??? I didn't realize he didn't sign with Phoenix.. he was the #4 or #5 overall pick from what I remember... how did they not sign him when he left the Gophers?

I texted my buddy the Bruins fan and let him have it.

When Phoenix offered Wheeler a contract, he elected to go Free Agent (I don't know why he was in that position...I'm not totally up on how NHL drafting and rights and all that goes).HOW did you guys land Wheeler??? There's a blurb in the Strib this morning that says he never considered the Wild, as he wanted to see new things in his life after growing up in Breck and then playing at the U.
