Thread: Class action suit filed against EA Sports

The Madden lawsuit season is beginning! If you bought one of EA Sports' Madden, NCAA, or even Arena Football games between 2005 and now, you might be receiving an email naming you as part of a "class" of plaintiffs in a class action suit against EA.

I got this email today with a subject line of "EA Sports Litigation" and freaked out for a second.

I also got this email today. Case doesn't really have much merit in my opinion. I think the plaintiff is trying to make a statement more so than trying to win anything.

so what does it mean? is the plaintiff suing because madden is too expensive?

I never got an email. Never register my games tho

I never registered my game either. I have no idea how they had my work email address...Only thing I can think of is it is tied to my PSN account. Must have pulled it from there.

I guarantee that's where it's from. I got an email to the address tied into my live account, but I never registered my game.

I got an email from my xbox live account too that has to be how it's done.

I wonder if the new madden will feature a courthouse in Minneapolis?
