Christmas Lights!
I'm still in college and this is my first time living in a house with friends instead of parents. I was searching for decorations for my new room and thought that Christmas lights would be a good addition. They seem to add a pleasant "aura" to the room. Then I found this website with a huge selction, almost too much. I was going to get the standard white lights, but the options overwhelmed me and I need help. All I know now is that I want the lights to be bright enough to be the only source of light in the room.
What should a
college guy like me have in his room with blue walls?
Standard: cool, but boring.
Yellow: A bit more dim and so more relaxing than standard.
Orange: I remember for kindergarten art class that orange and blue are supposed to blend well together.
Purple: I would be in Viking heaven and it might create a blacklight feel too. Might be too dim though.
Green: I like this color but wouldn't want it to clash with my blue walls.
Blue: I think they would blend with my walls well.
Multicolored: Disco Fever!
Twinkle: I dunno whther they would be annoying or cool.
I've definetly never bought Christmas lights before so any help would be appreciated!"I hate when threads are destroyed by facts and logic."

Re: Christmas Lights!
I don't think they come in yellow. They are actual Viking helmets with the horn on the sides. They are probably about 2 inch helmets or so. I'll try to find a site for you.

Ok, I couldn't find them anywhere on the internet, but my brother bought them for me at a grocery store or something! They should be easier to find in stores (in Minnesota) closer to the holidays! I'll keep looking for a site where you can order them from!
