Re: Chicken Gizzards
I enjoy a gizzard every now and then.
They are particularly good if you have had beer for b-fast and nothing to eat all day and are ready to faint from malnutrition.
I still eat them occasionally on a road trip when I need some substance.
Overall, I would have to give the chicken gizzard a high mark.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. Mark Twain

What part of the chicken does the gizzard come from?

Chicken Gizzards
I think they are delicious.
But I like to get a taste of what's inside also.

Re: Chicken Gizzards
Grab a jar of pickled gizzards, throw in a few beers and you've got yourself a gourmet meal.
Ahh, if only I could find them down here.

Re: Chicken Gizzards
fried gizzard with hot mustard, or gizzards from a street vendor in S Korea are the only ways to eat them.
I really dislike gizzards that have been roasted with the bird...Zeus wrote:

I haven't mentioned until now that they should be fried.
