I have a ski boat and a cruiser.
I'm a pretty avid water skier so need that one.
The lake gets pretty rough on the weekends so the cruiser works well.
Good for overnight trips or taking big crews out.
Not sure I can afford them, but WTH, you only live once.
    I love water skiing too.
Try to make it out to a nearby lake at least 3 or 4 days a week.
This year though, I've been converting more and more to wakeboarding.

What kind of ski boat do you have?
Its a Malibu Echelon that I bought new in '94.
14th season and its still running great.
I'm mostly a barefoot and slalom guy and probably only get in 2 days a week with travel (and finding a driver, had to get my wife out of bed this morning to do the deed). We can go year round here with a drysuit, but I like to take 3-4 months off during the colder season.
Grew up in MN, but my bones don't take the cold like they used to.
I love to slalom but never took the time to learn how to barefoot.
I'm jealous you have the opportunity to go all year round.
What are the water temps at the coldest point in the year?

Lake Travis ranges from 55 to 88 degrees.
Right now it is probably 78-80.
    Almost getting too warm.
The 55 is less than 2 months though, through November its usually above 65.

I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioleconomic and income levels.
Should this guy be even teaching English?

    It's "socioeconomic", not "socioleconomic".

None the less, he make a valid point. We already have laws in place to built a 700 mile fence of which only 3/4 of a mile has been completed. We already have laws against companies hiring illegal aliens. Why do we need another bill which covers the same ground and won't be enforced in the future and give legal status rights to anywhere from 12 to 20 million illegals? It's government at is worst! No wonder only 14% of the people think Congress is doing a good job.

Did anybody else find it funny that the company contracted to build the fence got in trouble for hiring illegal immigrants to do the work? C ;D
    Idiots.
