Thread: chat room

I was hoping to go in the chat room to talk to the usual posters, but no one was there just a bunch of people who didn't know what they were talking about and Packers and Eagles fans dissing the Vikes. How come no one goes in there? Sorry I know there was another chat room thread, but I didn't think anyone would reply if if it was on that one cause it's an old post.

When did you go into the chat room? Sounds like a bunch of trolls trying to stir up trouble...

there were lots of frustrated folks in there...such is the function of a live chat room...people say what they feel every play. Sometihng bad happens, people complain. It works well, folks cheer, just as you would in a bar or at home.

In any event, it was a good year, hope to see everyone back in the offseason and next year.

I don't get it, how do they even find our chat room?? I thought it was kinda fishy when I went on there to chat after the game and I didn't recognize any of the screen names. No one from the board that usually posts was in there except me and like one other. Everyone else was just talking about weird junk not anything about the game.

Yeah, as to the kids.....we logged their info and sent it to their school administrators as they were most liekly violating their terms of use at school, during school hours. We'll see how that works out.

Webby, I'm just a chatroom novice but I don't understand what's wrong with having everyone entering a chatroom be a registered user, and using their registered logins to enter chat.

well, I had wanted to make it an open invite to all for game days, because I don't get to activating accounts but once every day or two.

Trying to be to nice I guess. I asked the developer to get me a script that will force registration with the forums....too bad.

I haven't seen those kids in there for a couple days...I think they finally cleared out.

Aren't there better place to chat?
