I have spent time in Minnesota, and absolutly love it. I have always said that if i were to move back somewhere cold again, (grew up in Michigan), it would be the home of my beloved Vikes. This article makes me glad to live in Georgia...

The link itself must have gone down... Anyways, it was on the front page of PP.O in the "More Vikings & NFL News..." section. The headline read "Al Franken Buys Town House In Minneapolis"

Al Franken is a joke. Although, he is funny sometimes, I completly disagree with his political views.

There are rumors that he's going to run for Senate in Minnesota in 2008 or 2010...I wonder if that will ever happen? Franken running for Senate would make one interesting race!

I thought he had one pretty good skit on SNL. The one where he looks in the mirror and says something along the lines of "because I'm good enough, smart enough and people like me." Does anyone remember that?

Stuart Smalley was the character's name, good skit.
Personally I agree with many of Franken's views, but I guess I'm in the minority
