Carl Pohlad, a working-poor son of the Great Depression who became one of America's wealthiest dealmakers, has died. He was 93.

Is it wrong to be happy about this?

Sad when anybody passes, but perhaps the new ownership will open the checkbook up a bit for us?

He didn't die. He probably sold or traded his soul.

Eh ... tough crowd in Minnesota. You can complain all you want about Pohlad, but he fielded a perennial contender and won TWO WORLD SERIES TITLES!
I don't know what you want for an owner. Six division titles and 2 world championships in a quarter century while playing in a small market. I would kill to get two Super Bowl titles from Wilf in 25 years.
