Campaign to make pole dancing olympic sport

Campaign to make pole dancing olympic sport

July 21, 2009 1:04 PM

A campaign has been launched to make pole dancing an olympic sport in time for the London 2012 games.

Pole dance instructor KT Coates thinks the discipline should be on a par with rhythmic gymnastics and figure skating.

As such, the 32-year-old has started an online petition for people who want to see pole dancing - or 'vertical pole' - recognized as a competitive sport.

That must include a bunch of judges where they somehow measure the degree of their woodiness and average it out to get their scores.
Strict anti-caveman drawing rules would have to be enforced.

I wouldn't put this too far from beach volleyball.
I can't even concentrate on the game with 4 babes out there gettin' dirty in the sand.
WTF cares about volleyball when there are hot ass chicks in skimpy bikinis jumping and prancing about?

But pole dancing?
Sounds good.
Next time I go to the nudie bar I can tell the wife I was out with the guys watching a sporting event.
Not my fault that the sporting event offers lap dances.
Just doing my part to promote the sport.

I love beach volleyball. Nothing better than a constant boner for a few hours.

The strippers would just be going out with the guys to watch sports. Nice.
We're bringing purple back.

points will be awarded by stuffing ballets in the dancers costume, these ballets will be referred to as singles, finski and the tenspot with different valuse also referred to as bills.
Medals will be award to the dancer with the highest bill totals and the ability to have the judge make it rain could capture a gold.
