Calling all members!

Good members of PP.O,

The other week a lot of you may have noticed that PP.O was down for quite a few hours. This was the result of our server...not a very good one at that.

In order to ensure that PP.O continued to provide continuous service and enjoyment to the members, webby switched to a dedicated server. With this we will not have to fear losing the site for any amount of time and we can really expand it also.

However, webby was forced to take on additional expenses. Websites are not free, and a website such as PP.O with a wealth of content that is offered to the members carries a cost; a dedicated server will cost webby more than the previous server.

Webby has never pushed the idea of having members donate money to help webby out with the expenses; he carries the burden by himself. If he feels like it, he can share the costs with you. I can tell you that I could never afford to provide a site such as this; its more than most of us would pay a month for a top of the line vehicle.

So, if any members would like to donate money to help defray the costs incurred by webby I know he would greatly appreciate it. It does not have to be a lot. Heck, you can donate a dollar; every little bit helps.

Lets show webby how much we appreciate all that he has given us! Support the pride!

Bumping back up as it was about to fall off the first page of threads.

Ultra or Webby,

How do we know for sure that our donation went through. When I sent it Paypal kind of seemed to freeze up, and I didnt see it update on the list of who has donated on that payment page. Should that have updated realtime or not?

Let me know if you didnt get it.

Webby will make sure your name gets there. You can check your paypal account and see if it went.

I sent money through paypal as well but the same thing happened to me as did Turboe. Hopefully it went through.

You should receive a confirmation e-mail from PayPal showing a receipt for your donation to PurplePride.org.

The payment went thru for me, but it doesn't re-direct back to the site like it should.
