The Associated Press reports former NFL head coach Steve Mariucci is considering a career in broadcasting. He recently provided analysis for the NFL Network's Super Bowl pre-game show. "I really loved the experience," Mariucci told The Iron Mountain Daily News for a story this week. "I want to do something that keeps me busy, and broadcasting is one of those possibilities."

The Associated Press reports retired NFL RB Jerome Bettis has spoken to Fox about joining the network's NFL broadcast team. "Right now I'm looking for a job, so hopefully the opportunity will present itself," said Bettis, who added he would take a job if it were offered.

What are they going to call their segment "Dumb and Dumber"? :lol:

No doubt, can you imagine? Would be good entertainment for about 4 min.

Wow, I don't believe that the NFL is this hard up for a broadcast team.. Mooch would be alright, but Bettis. He would favor the Steelers in every game just like crossed eyed Madden does with Favre and the Cheese..

Mooch + Blue Bus = Disaster...

I can see Mooch doing it, I'd actaully enjoy that.. I'm not going to lie.. I thought he did quite well doing pre-game stuff for the NFL channel..

Now bettis... Ummm, I don't know..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did people like Aikman wait a few years before they picked up a mike?
