    Brock TKO over Randy

Second round TKO, big ham hand to Randy's face and then a stoppage after Brock pummeled Randy on the ground.
I've always been a big Brock fan because he was such a great wrestler for the Gophers and has had the physical tools to big a "real" champion at a sport.
Not to mention all the new fans he will bring in to the UFC.
If MMA wants to take the place of Boxing in the world they are going to need big selling stars like Brock and some high profile fights.

    Anybody else watch the match?
    Thoughts?

It's a disgrace to mixed martial arts.

Never should a fighter with 3 fights be put up against Randy Couture.

He didn't earn a title shot, it was given to him.... ridiculous.

But god damn is he strong.

If you take into account the state of the UFC heavyweight division it wasn't that far fetched for him to get the shot...and on a side note UFC doesn't really have a clear champion until Lesnar faces the winner of the Noguiera-Mir fight as Noguiera was made interim champ while Couture was out of UFC (contract dispute).

My dream though is for Lesnar to keep winning and eventually see him matched up against Fedor...

Randy told Dana he wanted the fight, I mean I guess you can argue or be mad about Dana even setting up the fight, but when Randy okays the fight you have to criticize him as well.
And a disgrace to the MMA?
Please, if you have a guy who is as big and powerful as Brock and can bring so much to the sport you just don't tell all the fans and other people who want MMA to become more of a household sport that Brock needs more "time".
Not to mention the "disgrace" Randy was when he got his title shot after 3 fights.

Brock needs to work on some of his game, but with his take down defense and wrestling skills he can fight any heavyweight in the game.
For the most part people are just mad because they labeled Brock as a "fake" when he wanted to come into the sport and now that he is doing well nobody wants to admit he's the real deal.
There is more to a sport than some sort of ranked system or a some sort of perceived system for who should get a title shot.

Brock is a great fighter who walked away from big money in fake wrestling to pursue his own dreams.
Brock is a guy who could finally bring MMA the attention it deserves.
Can't wait for the Brock/Mir or Nog fight.
I would especially like to see a Mir rematch so when Mir is destroyed like he almost TKOed the first time around people can wine and wine and wine about how Brock still needs to face *insert fighter* before he's legit.
Win or lose I support Brock.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda. If Randy had not been biatching over the last 15 months he would probably have had another fight or two and lost before this anyways.
Look ... Brock has not been around that long ... and he was bigger, faster and younger than a clearly less-than-stellar Couture, but as long as there are a handful of promotions competing against each other (and they shrink regularly, pretty soon it could be just down to UFC) then it is all about MONEY and there is no doubt that Lesnar brings in the money.
Same reason that no-talent clown Kimbo keeps getting fights (although he may be done after his last performance). Bottom line is there is not a real ranking system of any sort to line these people up and make mandatory fights, so if there is money to be made that is the fight that will be fought.
Personally ... after Rodriguez takes care of Mir ... I am eagerly looking forward to Lesnar vs. Rodriguez. He if can even stand up for more than 1 1/2 rounds against Rodriguez I would be impressed.

    Exactly right!
    Who else deserved it??
Someone that already lost to Couture?
Plus, the Mir fight was a joke...lame ass mazzagati called Lesner for a penalty without being warned.
Every other fighter gets warned multiple times about hits to the back of the head before he is penailized, and Lesner could have ended the fight right there.
I'm pullin for Lesner the Minnesota boy.
A lot of people think he's a joke but he's an awesome wrestler, probably better than most of the other heavyweights out there.
I think a Mir rematch or a fight with Noguera would be awesome and a great test for him.
Awesome night of fights if you saw them!
There was a sick uppercut in the Jeremy Stephens fight.
A must see if you can find a video!

Brock is not human. There is no way he can be. He is too damn big.

It was a pretty good fight. The first round was fairly even, but Randy had no answer to Brock's massive size and strength. Can anyone in the heavy weight division beat him right now? I don't think so
