I just hope the idiots in DC let us go get it.
The directional drilling and deep hole drilling that they can do now days is just amazing.
I am always blown away by the technology that they can unleash on not only drilling but also the Tar Sands in Alberta and the Oil Shale in the Rockies.
I was lucky enough to see some of these technologies upclose in my previous life, it is amazing.
And if you ever get a chance to spend some time on an offshore rig, jump at it.

Or you could pretend to be environmentally conscious and do something like prohibit logging operations in the guise of being green while importing more wood than has ever been used in the country's history.
