Boy's vacuum expertise earns him TV shot
Whatever happened to collecting baseball cards

ADRIAN, Mich. - A 12-year-old boy who has collected more than 150 vacuum cleaners says he is learning to identify them by sound. "I'm getting pretty good at it," Kyle Krichbaum told the Detroit Free Press.
Kyle has been in Hollywood taping a game-show pilot where he had to compete against other contestants blindfolded and correctly identify vacuum models, the newspaper said Saturday.
He said he got his first working model at age 3 and keeps part of his collection in his room.
"When I was really little I would always follow my parents around when they were vacuuming," he said.
Randy and MaryLynn Krichbaum said their son played with a toy vacuum constantly as a toddler.
"At first we thought it was something he would grow out of because babies like noisy things," MaryLynn Krichbaum said. "But his interest just grew stronger and stronger ... where he gets it from, I don't know."
Kyle, whose hobby also has landed him a guest appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," has aspirations of owning a vacuum shop.
Adrian is located about 50 miles southwest of Detroit.

Saw this kid on Leno.
He has some vacuum's from the 1920's and really knows his stuff.
He also repairs vacuum's for people cheaper than his neighboring repair shops.
