Boy, 7, rescues family from home invaders

Child dialed 911 from bathroom: ‘They have guns. Bring soldiers, too.’

Bah. That's awesome and all.. But I was hoping for some more action.

Like the boy finding his dads AK 47 and seriously maiming the intruders.

But, a 911 call will suffice.

I will say, though.. that the story leaves much to be desired. The burglars still remain at large.
Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(

Great thinking and action by the boy. He is most certainly a hero.

That must have been a very hard call for the dispatcher to take as well - it is difficult being on the other end of a phone during an emergency because you can't physically help.

He is a marvel, however, props need to be given to his Mom and Pop for taking the time to not only discuss this with him, but the time they spent rehearsing as well.

Our children are our most treasured resource. Just mystifies me why some parents don't take the same approach these parents did.

Props to them and props to the youngster for listening.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
