Nice catches BLV. I was wondering where you went off too. I never heard of fishing soley for paddle fish. Where did you go & what do the bite on?

There are several in the Mississippi, but I've never caught one. I've thrown several back in the river from the seine nets though.

Other than the skates I caught in the ocean, the oddest fish I caught here was a 3 ft. eel.
This was the first time I had gone, but the rest of my family has been going for about five years.
There are few places you can go to catch them, but we were at the confluence where the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers come together on the North Dakota Montana border.

You are only allowed one, and the season is from May 1 - June1 or until 1,000 of them are caught.
    They don't bite on anything.
They are bottom feeder so you just keep casting untill you snag one.
    Great photos!
    Fish on!

    Comeon down.
We will put out a 4 or 6 pole spread. Left the boat drift and drink beer.
Out of that spread we will catch Croaker, Sharks, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Gray Trout and if we get real lucky a Cobia or two.

No one gets skunked in the Bay.
    ;D

By the way, speaks volumes of your "Friend" that she allowed you to go fishing.
Any women that understands a man has to do things like this is one that you'd better not let that one go.
They are hard to come by.
