    Blue Jays at it again

The Blue Jays signed Bengie Molina today: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2321480

I hope they finish ahead of the Red Sux this year.

Molina isn't that big of a pick up.. So oh well..

    Sox will finish above them!

He is certainly an upgrade over Greg Zaun though.

    HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!

With all the upgrades we've made this offseason, we have a playoff spot all locked up. We've got a solid #2 pitcher in Burnett that we never had, and we now certainly have the best rotation in the East. And the best bullpen, especially with the addition of BJ Ryan.

It's good to be a Blue Jay fan right about now.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

It is a good rotation but the Yankees will be #1 when the Rocket re-launches from the Bronx this spring to go with The Unit, Moose and crew. It is nice to have the Blue Jays relevant again though.

The thing that I like about our team (especially the rotation) is that we actually had some depth.

In the past, we could count on winning whenever the Doc was on the mound, but otherwise, it was pretty much a crapshoot. Now, we've got Burnett, Chacin (one of the best 1-2-3 punches in the league IMO) plus Towers and Lilly who are both solid. And if there are some injuries, we've got Scott Downs, Pete Walker, and Dustin McGowan to fall back on.

And since we always play well against our division, we should have a really good year. Should be really interesting.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

All the Jays need to do now is go back to those great uniforms of the early 90s with that great looking batting helmet.

Yea, I don't like their new uniforms much at all. They took out all of the blue and tried to make the Blue Jay in their logo look more fierce.

They should go back to their old school logo with the maple leaf - I love that one!

Re: Blue Jays at it again

the jays stink and they still dont have a shot at the playoffs..they overpaid burnett and ryan, and no matter how many people they sign, it all comes down to pitching..they have 1 superstar pitcher and the rest are mediocre or below average
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.
