I saw that and all I have to say as an Air Force Reservist is I have to support my Commander in Chief.

Ask me what I think as a civilian. You may have a different answer. But to avoid a political thread I will refrain from voicing my opinion.

I'm fine with the decision not to release pics. As a matter of fact, I believe we as civilians don't even have the right to know any specifics of this operation. Suffice to say he's dead and we will never hear from this dirty filthy pig ever again.

I believe he made the right decision also. His reason for not releasing it may be different from mine, but...at the end of the day, it was a wise choice. I'll leave it at that.

I do understand the choice that was made. I can't argue with it. But here are my thoughts. It was okay for the media to show Americans being bonded up on their knees with bags over their heads and Taliban behind them with swords and/or AK47s. Then letting us know they were killed. It was okay to show over and over our friends and neighbors screaming for their lives in the WTC after watching a plane fly through them ultimately jumping several feet to their death. It was okay to show Saddam Hussein and his sons all dead. But the one all of America really cares about we can't see it.

Like I stated, I will support my Commander in Chief's decision. I understand the decision. But quite frankly I would love to see the slow motion video of the bullet 6 inches from Osama's head until it connects meanwhile watching the fear in his eyes. The pain that SOB caused so many people is beyond ridiculous. Not only the people killed but their families and friends. Not to mention the fact we had to go to war because of it and lose more makes me have absolutely no sympathy for that SOB what-so-ever. So to see that SOB in the state of death would be gratification as far as I'm concerned. It wouldn't bring back some of the people I knew that have died for this cause but it sure would give me some gratification.

The argument of it may cause violence is nothinng but a cop out. The fact is those SOBs are planning and have been planning for many years ways of pushing violence against us. With pictures or without pictures.

Osama Bin Laden diary 'planned attacks' - US officials

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-13370524

Osama Bin Laden calculated how many Americans would have to be killed to force the US from the Middle East, US officials say, citing his seized journal and other files.

The al-Qaeda leader reportedly wrote that smaller attacks since 9/11 were not having the desired impact.

Bin Laden also urged his followers to strike smaller cities and hit trains.

The documents were seized during last week's US raid on Bin Laden's hideout in Pakistan in which he was killed...
