Re: Better fill up your tanks

I pay $6/gallon here in Tonga, which isn't bad. The difference is my car gets 30 miles to the gallon whereas there are a lot of American cars that are gas guzzlers. My pontiac got like 18. Maybe a Hybrid is your solution.

How can you realy complain about $3 gas when you pay a $1 for bottled water that you can get free out of a tap?

Yeah I know its a pain to pay the price but when compared to other things we still have it perty darn good.

Beer at a bar hear in town is $2.75 and in the cities closer to $5
Vikings tickets anywhere from $50 to $100 plus
Hookers $? - sorry dont know the price. That should make my wife happy

The list goes on and on.

Yeah, so random search of stuff/gallon came up with this. Nasal Spray is $2,600/gallon.

And, by the way, I'm not affiliated with the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen... yet.

Maybe, maybe not. Let's not make this political. Besides, even if we did invest as much in renewable or alternative energy, it may not necessarily generate a solution. Often just throwning money at something can just contribute to the problem.

    Well said!
In 1977 President Jimmy Carter called for a comprehensive campaign to conserve energy. He set an example during his administration by promoting the use of solar energy by installing solar heating panels on the roof of the West Wing in 1977. When Reagan took office, he removed the solar panels Why?... it wasnt because they didnt work.
