Best Toy You Had As a Kid

Toys have really changed over the years. Do kids even play with toys much these days?? I went into a local Toys are Us and besides the Bicycles (which have also changed a lot) all I could see that reminded me of some of my toys as a kid were some plastic air planes, and some army men I saw. They don't even make any real steel toys anymore do they??

One of my favorites was a big Tonka Dump Truck that did everything. You know... it raised up and down, doors opened on it...had the real hard rubber tires on it etc. The thing was made so well I could sit on it and ride it down the big hill near my house, crash it, and then do it some more. It lasted for years.

What was one of your favorites...and why?

    Cheers!

I would have to say my He-man toys and transformers! When I got a little older it was probably my micro machines!

    Ah the good ol' days!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

    Okay - serious answer time.

I had the Death Star with real foam garbage and garbage monster in the compactor.
    It was way cool.

Lego's were cool, but my favorite was:

The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good -Samuel Johnson - lexicographer
The word genius isn t applicable in football. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein - Joe Theisman
