Best dive restaurants/bars in the Twin Cities.

It has been a while since I've hung out in the TCs other than occasional visits.
I used to like to stop by at Stand Up Franks, but I think that place is defunct now.

Can anyone suggest some dive haunts to go to while in town?

    B.J.'s is still hoping.
That is if you don't mind seeing a topless woman or two while your drinking beer and shooting pool.

Not sure this qualifies as a dive restaurant but has anyone been to Hell's Kitchen in downtown Minneapolis? We were planning to eat breakfast there the last time we were in town but never made it.

Great way to forget about a vikings loss, at least for a little while.

    Ahhhh...I forgot all about that.
Nothing like a soft boobie on your cheek to take away the pain.
    ;D

Thats what I like about BJs...it doesn't have the feel of a strip club...it just so happens that there are topless women dancing behind the bar.

    Nye's Polonaise...a must-eat.
Not necessarily a "dive" but old enough to have that "lived-in" feel.
Both SnoBum and Webby himself will vouch for the great food though.

NE Minneapolis is full of dive bars/restaurants.
Seems like there is one great place on every block.
    Check it out.
