The BEST boy's basketball team in MN - my hometown!

*WARNING - HOMER ALERT AHEAD!!!!*

Anyone from MN ever heard of Braham High School? It's where I grew up, graduated from high school, where my Dad died...

We won the State Class 2A basketball championship last year, we are 22-0 this year, beating teams by scores like 105-35, etc. etc. etc....

We beat some elite teams from California this year, and have beaten teams like powerful Class 5A champion Minneapolis North this year....

That is impressive. I know our highschool team was supposed to be the best that we have had in 20 years or so. But as it stands now we are around 9-10, something like that. It's a real downer.

My old high school was ranked #1 in Ohio last I looked, but that was a while ago, they were like 10-0. I don't know how they've faired since then, they're better known for football. They've produced such players as Joey Browner and Korey Stringer.

My sister actually sat next to Stringer in one of her classes.

Well I graduated from Tartan High School (in Oakdale) and a few years ago they won the big school basketball tourney!!

I graduated from Moorhead. We were ranked 3rd in the nation in hockey my junior year.

I think we plays you guys every couple of years.

We usually win, if it's the regular season. Harding has been either 10-0 or 9-1 during the regular season for like 6 straight years, but they haven't won a state title since like 90 or 91.

Oh, well if they're a good D-I team, Harding will play them, they've played a couple teams from Canada, and some others out of state. Anything to get their athletes more exposure.

I want them to play that team from Cal that is always in the USA Today top 25.

I think our games are more interesting though...there was just a streaker at the last Iron Mountain b-ball game. Guy ran through the gym wearing nothing but a ski mask. I'm sure Skogs knows what I am talking about.

i hate moorhead thier hockey team is like the best in the state.. they always kill us.. ( FF otters) our b-ball team sux too.. im playin corner in f-ball next year so we should win state
