Absolutely atrocious . . . what next?
Absolutely atrocious . . . what next?
omg... that makes me sick. Seriously whats next?
makes you sick don't it. And our democratic leaders would rather sit and make a political mess out of some pictures of a Iraqi being barked at by a dog, or a man with a dog collar on a man, or a pile of naked bodies. They have been humiliated at most but Hillary, Kennedy,Levin and the rest of the socialist democrats don't say a word or fight for the true torture that our American citizens are being put through. I am willing to bet if they do speak up it will be something like: If the administration would have just released the men they wanted then this beheading would not have taken place. One way or another it will be Bush, Cheney and Rumsfields fault not the animals that did this.
I'll probably catch heat for this but I say
NUKE EM !!
I think I would choose a dog collar v.s beheading
Along the lines of "I'll probably catch heat for this"...
I hope that the person, or persons, that released the pictures of the Iraqi prisoners being humiliated to the media reads this article and weeps. This man lost his life, in this way, because the enemy knew that their people were being embarassed, and felt they had to respond. This man was beheaded because those pictures were flashed across TV screens around the world.
Not only are they willing to bruttaly kill for the dignity of prisoners, they believe it's necessary now. This is why I have hoped, and still hope, that the media would use some common sense in what it decides to report during wartime. If my knowing something could cost American lives, I don't want to know.Quote:
"So we tell you that the dignity of the Muslim men and women in Abu Ghraib and others is not redeemed except by blood and souls. You will not receive anything from us but coffins after coffins, slaughtered in this way."
Besides don't think that American's are the only one with nukes. There are plenty on this planet that aren't in American hands that could easily destro our planet several times over.
Using nukes would ensure the destruction of the human race. But other than that, good idea purplehorn! :)
This is sickening
Even more sickening is that some libreals will make this an issue. Of course, they'll stand up for a few Iraqi prisoners who were given no punishment like this, but he won't stand up for this guy. I'm not saying that the acts against Iraqi prisoners weren't bad, I'm saying that it seems like some liberals care for them more than our citzens who recive barbaric treatment.
I'm also not saying that about all libreals, I'm saying that about the hardcore left-wingers.
What is sickening viking spirit is that the liberals do feel for this guy and would love to stand up for him. The sick part is that they won't becasue by doing so they will blow a perfect political opportunity. The bastards like Kennedy, Clinton, Levin and the rest of them cannot put thier hunger to regain power aside and do what is right. I hope the media and especially 60 minutes are happy now. The defense department knew about these pictures months ago but kept them under wraps becasue they knew this is exactly what would happen, but the media does not think like that, they have to be the big story breaker and have to be the first on the evening news with the story. But rather than admit that it was a bad idea to release them and say we were wrong, Noooooo it is much easier to say that the defense department is covering something up being that they sat on the pictures. Now why is it that the AP knew about the abuses and the investigations going on months ago, but only now that the picturtes have been released do they start reporting on it. Because nobody would have really cared about a POW having a dog bark at them, or a POW wearing a dog collar, or a pile of naked bodies of POW's in sexual positions. Fact is most people would have probobly found it somewhat comical. Now that the pictures go along with it, it can now be used as a political issue. I don't ask the media for common sense, but rather I ask do you have no shame, you may as well cut off this guys head yourself because you are mostly the one to blame.
That's exactly my problem ndavike. They will make this an issue when it shouldn't be.
josdin's right. It's hard to play "what ifs" but if those pictures were never taken, or if the media chose not to expose them this would not have been the case. What happened to the sensitive disclosure that was not allowed during WWII? I don't condone the actions of the select few in the Abu Ghraib prison, but if it never got out, this, and God knows what else in the future, would not have happened. F@ck ratings! People are dying!
