Thread: "Beat Whitey Night" At Iowa State Fair

AUGUST 24--Police are investigating whether a series of assaults at the Iowa State Fair were racially motivated since the attackers reportedly announced it was “Beat Whitey Night” during one attack.

According to a Des Moines Police Department report, a group of young black assailants pummeled a white fairgoer Friday night, an assault that cops believe may have racial overtones due to what was said by the attackers...

I wonder which would receive more attention in the media:

Beat Whitey Night or Beat Blackey Night

Maybe it's time we just learn to get along with each other eh? Put some of those differences behind perhaps?

I can't help but wonder why there would be a night devoted solely to beating up Whitey Ford.

Kind of hard to do when you're being jumped by 30-40 people...

This happened a couple of nights at the fair and off the fairgrounds in the nieghborhoods around the fairgrounds as well. One guy was stabbed and a cop was assaulted from behind in a gas station.
Yet the police spokesman said there is no evidence of racial motivation! That's caused as much furor here as anything. I can just about guarantee if a bunch of white guys went around beating up black people it would be.
