This one is supposed to be a lot better and different I hear.

Val Kilmer as batman = suck!
George Clooney as Batman = sucks worse!
Michael Keaton did a good job, you think?
He was the best Batman so far (although I haven't seen Batman Begins yet). That's a great line when the bad guy says "Who are you?" and he says
    "I'm Batman!"
christian bale does an awesome job. i really liked how they picked him for such a huge movie even though he is somewhat unknown.

if you want more christian bale.. try equilibrium. great movie.

    Re: BATMAN BEGINS!!

    its not really a prequel.

its his beginnings, but it has nothing to do with the other batman movies.

the director said to look at batman begins as if the other batman movies never existed.

it is its own movie entirly, a separate entity.

I saw batman the first day it was in theaters. The movied absolutely rocked and is a must see. My fav part had to have been batmans training and the ending part where he looks really mean when everybody was poisoned by scarecrows gas.

wow he looked bad aaassss! Especially when he was flying over gotham and everyone poisoned was looking up at him. Mean stuff.

Funny how gordon played a huge part in saving gotham. Loved that big vehicle batman had. Otta get me one of those.

Well, I went and saw it this afternoon. I think this is one of the best movies I've seen this year! What makes it special is several things:

    1) It tells the "backstory" of Batman/Bruce Wayne. How he became who he is. What his motivations for becoming Batman were, etc...

    2) It uses a lot of GOOD ACTORS in strong supporting roles - and it actually tells a story, instead of just having cool special effects...

    3) It shows Batman/Bruce Wayne as a flawed character - he's not perfect or "Superhero-ish"... plus the plot is plausible.

    4) He has got ONE BAD@$$ Batmobile! It's a cross between a military Humvee and a tank!

    5) The "batcave" is an actual bat cave...

I personally loved it - it sticks more to the original origins of Batman - it's not goofy or cartoonish like the TV series or the other Batman movies, it's much darker like the new Star Wars...
Nice Review. I am gonna go see it for sure now.

incredible movie. The BEST portrayal of batman and the BEST acting in a batman movie.

Best scene for me is the end of his ninjitsu training and he gets the cut on his arm, and... well I won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it. But that was totally badass.
PM me if you'd like a sig.

Good god camper, relax a little.
It was good, but not as good as Batman with Keaton and Nicholson.
It wasted the best bad guy in the Batman comics (Scarecrow) and I won't ruin how, but it was ridiculous how wasted he was ... and the "twist" was very predictable ... all that said, I liked the acting, the script, the casting and though Bale was a very good Batman and I am looking forward to the future movies.
It still does not hold a stone to Spider-Man 2 or X-Men 2 though, and Batman and Batman Returns are probably better ... overall I give it 4 of 5 stars and highly recommend it though.
