Baseball playoffs

St. Louis gave yet another reason today why they are one of the best teams in baseball...they hit consistently well against left handed pitchers. The way they exploded in the 3rd inning against Odalis Perez was amazing considering their mostly right handed lineup. And they needed to do get a big lead since LA plays well from behind when the game is close.

LA played a smart, well managed game but they just couldn't get anything going offensively.

Right now St. Louis looks unstoppable. If they beat the Dodgers, I'm a little worried about possibly playing the Stros, we struggled against them later in the season.

Meanwhile in the "Cheater" league, I'd like to see Minnesota beat NY. I like that Minnesota is a small budget club that has brought up a lot of their talent locally. Few teams do that anymore.

Also the Angels are playing like crap right now.

The curse will live, cuz IF the Twins lose to the Yankees they will beat the Sox!!

I hate the Braves almost as much as I hate the Yank Me's. But I really think part of the reason people are counting them out is because even after winning so many division titles, their playoff and World Series record hasn't been all that great.

I hope they go down for the count. I hope that the Rocket delivers that blow in the 4th game or maybe Oswalt in the 5th. I am not the prognosticator of prognosticators but I do have dreams. This is one of them.

I hope they can get some attendance at the games in the A.T.L. I heard they had a rally the other day and no one showed up. It was a measly little showing of fans. They have been lulled to death in ATL. They are so use to them winning that it is old hat, common place. They are so spoiled.

They are like the Yankees because they win and are competative but the don't have near as may fans. They don't gain a lot of new fans because they don't have the mistique. They climaxed about five years ago and the fans rolled over and fell asleep. It is too bad. The Braves are a good team. Also Bobby is a heck of a MGR.

The fans here in Houston are great. There teams have sucked for the most part not because they were bad, But because they come up short. This year is may be different.

For anyone that cares, the Astros are beating the Braves 6-1. Wright has allowed 3 HRs.
