Batista should at best be a D.H.. He is horrible.. No idea why we picked him up

Hunter looks to be healthy which is a good sign.. We need him in the line up, he helps alot..

Im looking forward to seeing some of the young talent we have..Baker, Lariano, Mauer,Morneau (Who is doing great in the WBC)

Anyone know how Glenn Williams is doing?

And im also very pleased with the Castillo pick up.. Get a decent batter in the the middle infield.. I was sick of Punto, Castro and Rivas
Batista has a decent glove and the most upside out of the players we currently have at 3rd. White can and should be able to hold down the D.H unless he gets injuried.

    Thanks Josdin

Well yesterday we spanked the Tigers 14-3. Appears that the Tigers are just as horrible as they are every year.

So far this spring league has shown me that we do have the ability to get more hits and drive in more runs on a consistent basis and I believe the answer is our new hitting coach. Ulger(spg?) couldn't teach anybody how to hit last year and it showed in our run production.

    Thanks Josdin

    I just woke up.
I was dreaming about the Twins playing in a new stadium.
    It was sweet.
And the Twins broke the single game run record.
    They scored 46.

odd dream............oh and I bought a Kia in the dream.

Did anybody watch the WBC game between Japan and USA? The Japanese got screwed out of that game if you ask me. I don't know if they would have ended up winning but that blown call on the runner who tagged at 3rd to bring in the go ahead run was legal.

On a side note the Twins have won 4 in a row! Go Twins

    Thanks Josdin

    Re: Baseball is back!

Thought I'd update the stats a little bit:

Morneau is currently batting around .350 and has knocked in 10 runs

    Castillo is batting .342

Mauer is batting .250 but I'm sure he'll pick it up come regular season

Bastita is hitting .216. I hope he can at least hit around .250 and hit about 20 homers if not this signing is beginning to look like a bust.

Kubel is rebounding from his knee injury pretty nicely, he's hitting about .270, which isn't fantastic but he's coming out of a slump.

Stewart is hitting barely about .250. I wonder if he or Castillo will be our leadoff man.

    Thanks Josdin
