Agreed. I'm a true baseball romantic. It's the most pure game in American history. Every other game has evolved and changed from its beginnings, except baseball. The game you see today should be the same game in the 1950's. Can't say the same of football or basektball. That's the neat part of it, and why I hate seeing steroids and an imbalance of power turning the game into a sideshow.

The only reason they are crying is because Bonds is a cheat and a liar.

Bonds is the total a** and I hope he never comes back.

I really enjoy the history of baseball and try to teach my son about the great players of the past. Lou Gehrig is my favorite baseball player of all time. He is also my sons's favorite. My son wears #4 on his jersey for baseball and other kids ask him who his favorite it and he tells them Lou Gehrig. Lou who? they say! :lol:

People were "all over him" because he was and still is a complete A**. He's a selfish, self-centered, jerk. He won't show anybody an ounce of respect, yet he expects total respect from everyone around him.

Any problems Bonds has, he brought upon himself.
