    Re: asbav test

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States armed forces. It is often optionally administered to American high school students when they are in the 11th grade, though anyone eligible to and interested in enlisting can take it. The ASVAB was first instituted in 1976, and it underwent a revision in 2002. In 2004, the test's percentile ranking scoring system was re-normalized, to ensure that a score of 50% really did represent doing better than exactly 50% of test-takers.

    Re: asbav test

I took it to see what kind of job I would get.
It was so long ago, I don't remember my score, but the job suggested for me had something to do with military intelligence I think.
Like I said, it was a while ago.
I do know that they suggested I keep going to school because I could advance faster.

    Re: asbav test

I took it in High School, the school provided it to us all, like it or not, with our ACT and PSAT standardized tests. I don't remember what I got because I was definitely not interested in going military (although I have incredible respect for those who do so). I still get junk mail from the Armed Forces recruitment centers because of it.

VikesFan787, Thanks for the awesome sig!

    Good job.
I am sure some people were serious about it, and you wanted to be a donkey butt.

    I remember that test.

    98.
Despite not showing any interest in the armed forces, that score earned me a very awkward house call from my local recruiter.

A lot of people were pricks though, writing gems such as, "Don't draftz me man lololol"

They wanted me to work on the nuclear powerplant of subs... those bastards wouldn't quit calling even after I told them I couldn't do the military for medical reasons (broken back from hockey).... nor was I interested.

    Re: asbav test

i tested once, and was able to take my choice of military law, and several other choices i was not disclosed at the meeting after the test.. I did finish it for what seemed about 45 min before the next person finished. we all started the same time.

i was later told I would not be able to enter into the undisclosed list as my medical history show'd i have aeortal tacakardia..

go figure.. ended my military career very quickly
