Re: Apple trees will be extinct.
We're talking FA fruits and the draft, the fruits don't have to be from trees.
If the rumor is true that clementines are moving up on the draft board we should package up a deal quickly before the ethylene prodution kicks into high gear and injuries occur.
The strawberries are dropping fast, it is time to make a trade.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. Mark Twain

Every other mock draft has them going late in the first round.
I understand your rationale for putting oranges at the top, but watermelons were projected as early as a week ago to drop into a late 2nd day pick or even possibly a top third day pick.
Other than that it's too early to say, the FLPA hasn't even inked the agreement yet with the tropical fruits.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. Mark Twain

Re: Apple trees will be extinct.
It is all speculation right now. We havent even had the Combine yet. The reason they had Watermelon dropping was because of his weight issue, But now it is believed to be water weight and that he could lose it very quickly. As for Strawberries, Have you seen the Vitamin C numbers on him, They are massive.

Re: Apple trees will be extinct.
bad news!! the pomegranate has decided to retire early and go into broadcasting. so this leaves us with out our best provider of vitamin C. this is a huge shock to his team, because not only did he provide them with energy, he kept them from getting sick.

Re: Apple trees will be extinct.
obviously u all have never tried to run through rasberries..
u are way underestimating their potential, they are run stopping for sure!!!
u won't find a grab and cling thornier cut u if they have to fruit out there. can u imagin a defense wall of rasberry bushes? nothing will make it through unpeeled.

Re: Apple trees will be extinct.
I can't believe nobody has even mentioned Ugli Fruit!
Related to both Grapefruit and Tangerine (and maybe even a little Pomelo thrown in there), I expect Ugli to be the day one shocker in the draft.
Maybe even going as high as #15 overall...Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Apple trees will be extinct.
I like Grapefruits, Cantalopes, Casabas...and Watermelons!

Also, don't forget about Tomato...the so-called "Love Apple"...especially poignant on Valentine's Day!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
