Re: Anyone own a Saab 9-3 or 9-5 or any Saab?
Hopefully others will get a kick out of my misery.
Sometimes, you don't remember things until they are right on the tip of your tounge.
So here it goes.
I live in the hour radius of the city of Houston, which is approx 8 million people. Here it is, I can't find a window regulator in the city for the drivers side window. It is all jacked up and won't close. It happened on Mon, the mechanic order the part on Tues, they wouldn't schedule me yesterday afternoon because the part wasn't given an arrival time, so I drop my car off today(thurs). About 2 hours after dropping my car off, they called me back and said that they rcvd the wrong part, it was for the passenger side instead. Meanwhile, they never told me how hard the part was to find.
Before I found out how difficult it was to get the part, I said politely that I wanted to do business with them, but if they couldn't schedule it for tomorrow morning, I would have to find someone else to do the job. I found someone to do the job, I just need to overnite the part from the east coast.
If you still want a SAAB, mine might be for sale.
The funny thing is, I was going to order the part from the same people that I am ordering it from way back in the beginning.

Picked up my new GTI two weeks ago. Sweet ride, faster than advertised.
Already did an ECU software upgrade and intake work. Speeding tickets to follow soon!

And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.
