Anyone own a Saab 9-3 or 9-5 or any Saab?
If anyone could give me any info they know about as an owner or just knowledge of the cars that would be great. I am strongly considering buying a used 2003 Saab 9-3 with 25,000 miles on it. Any info at all would be great, including how you think it looks, mechanical and technical quality, safety, etc. Info on the brand of Saab would be appreciated too.
Thanks.

well, how much would the car cost you? if its around 25,000 or maybe even 23,000 there are much better new cars you could go for

thanks ultra, but i was looking for some less formal reviews.
and the car is around 17k right now from a list of 20k, looking to drop it a little more maybe in the 15's. the car was originally around 27k

Saab = higher maintenance costs.

Just read the reviews.
Go to www.autotrade.com and research what they are selling for.

saab does have higher maintenance costs, but it would be the same with buying a bmw or a high-end japanese car (my acura mdx is crazy with repair costs, luckily only one thing has been unwarranteed).
and the car will be under warranty for another 25,000 miles.

Why does it have to be a foreign car you're going to buy?
Trying to put me out of a job? J/K! :razz:

so if ur lookin at sutmn around those prices man, i donno, you could always go with a used altima, those are nice, and low maintenance costs, plus its a nissan that baby will run for you for years, go for sumtn else man, this year so many new cars came out its not even funny, the vw gti is beatiful, the new nissan sentras are gonna be out, there are plenty better than a saab
