Anyone here play broomball?

I play on an intramural broomball team up here in duluth. Had a game tonight and we won! I really enjoy playing and was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the joy that is broomball!

Ahh I never played but it's really popular where I used to go to school. The whole month of January they would have tournaments. I never took advantage of it though.

Awww that's too bad! I play on a co-ed team and it's a lot of fun to be out there with a bunch of friends fallin' on your jiggly butt's and laughing and just having a grand ole time!

we palyed it in gym back in the jr high days. it was so fun bashing peoples shins with brooms

I never played, and never heard of it being played around here, is it a mid-west thing?...

I did though, have an ex-wife how could fly on a broom ...

haha nice :lol: Not sure if it's just a mid-west thing. I know it's pretty popular in minnesota, at least with the middle age guys who used to play hockey.

I played it back in high school and had a blast wiping everyone out. I did play in a fu"fun" game about 15yrs ago when I worked at BC Place stadium. We played a team from the Pacific Colosseum in Vancouver. Good thing they allowed drinking made it something to watch.
